Sunfield solar farm energised and feeding the micro-grid
Commissioning is complete: 2.4 MW of PV and 1.6 MWh of storage are now delivering round-the-clock power to 1,800 households.

Grid-scale solar and storage delivering 24/7 power to a regional micro-grid.
Engineered for harsh dry-season conditions, the Sunfield array combines 2.4 MW of PV with 1.6 MWh of lithium storage, delivering stable 24/7 power to a regional micro-grid.
High dust loads and dry-season temperatures in the Garoua region threaten both PV yield and battery life, while the co-op needed dependable round-the-clock supply.
We specified high-temperature-rated modules, dust-resilient mounting and cleaning regimes, and sized storage against a measured load profile so the micro-grid could ride through evening peaks.
Came online two weeks ahead of schedule; performance has matched the model in every reporting period since, supplying 1,800 households.
