Engineered to last, built to uplift
We measure sustainability the way we measure everything else — in outcomes. Megawatts installed, wells drilled, communities reached, and carbon avoided.
A discipline, not a slogan
Sustainability at Evergreen isn't a department or a slogan — it's an engineering discipline that runs through every service we offer. We treat clean energy, responsible water, durable construction, and local capacity as design constraints, not afterthoughts.
That means hybrid energy systems that cut diesel runtime by 40–60% over their life, boreholes sited from geophysical data so communities get water that lasts, public works that harvest rainwater and run on solar lighting, and a standing pledge to serve the communities the market overlooks.

How we put it into practice
Clean energy first
Hybrid solar and storage designed to cut diesel runtime by 40–60% over the system's life — over 8.4 MW installed and 6,200 tonnes of CO₂ offset each year.
Water as a right
We dedicate 15% of our annual borehole-drilling capacity to subsidised or pro-bono wells in underserved communities — clean water for tens of thousands of residents.
Build to last
Durability is a sustainability strategy. We build and retrofit to standards that extend asset life, and design rainwater harvesting and solar lighting into public works.
Local capacity
We train local crews and community maintenance committees so the infrastructure we deliver keeps working long after we leave the site.

Water as a right, not a privilege
We dedicate 15% of our annual borehole-drilling capacity to subsidised or pro-bono wells. In 2025 alone, that brought clean water to 12 communities and an estimated 11,000 people — and our Rural Water Access Program has now reached 42 villages.
