Solar Hybrid Installation
Turnkey solar-hybrid site delivered for IPT on the MTN network in the South-East.
About the project
On the MTN network, working for IPT, Evergreen delivered a turnkey solar-hybrid site in the South-East. Telecom sites need power that never stops, and diesel-only sites are expensive to run. Our hybrid design pairs solar generation with storage and backup so the site stays up while cutting fuel costs and emissions — the model we believe is the future of telecom power across the region.
Challenge, solution, outcome
Challenge
Telecom sites demand near-continuous uptime, and diesel-only power is costly and carbon-heavy.
Solution
We delivered a turnkey hybrid site — solar, storage, and intelligent backup — sized to keep the site live while minimising diesel runtime.
Outcome
A live solar-hybrid telecom site on the MTN network, delivering reliable power at a lower operating cost.
