What a good borehole survey actually looks like

A dry hole is the most expensive hole you'll ever drill. Yet across the region, an alarming number of boreholes are sited by intuition or convenience rather than data.

Our standard workflow uses vertical electrical sounding (VES) combined with electromagnetic profiling to map subsurface resistivity to depths of 80–150 m. Cross-referenced with regional hydrogeology, this typically identifies productive aquifers with greater than 85% accuracy.

We then publish the survey report to the client before drilling begins — including expected yield ranges, recommended casing depth, and pump sizing. It's the difference between an asset and a liability.
