What a good borehole survey actually looks like
Half of failed boreholes failed at the survey stage. Here's the geophysical workflow we run before we ever bring a rig on site.
This week we equipped the 42nd borehole of the Rural Water Access Program, bringing safe water to another community in the eastern cluster.
As with every site, the well was sited from a geophysical survey, equipped with a solar-powered pump, and handed to a trained local committee that will keep it running.
With wave two underway, the programme continues — and the maintenance and monitoring phase will make sure these assets stay productive for the long term.
