About the project
Evergreen was engaged on one of Cameroon's major high-tension projects: the 225 kV power transmission line spanning the East and West regions. Working under KALPATARU on behalf of the Cameroon Government, our crews handled pole distribution, tower and pole erection, and cable installation across long, often remote stretches of the route. High-tension transmission demands exacting standards of safety and quality — every span surveyed, every structure erected to specification, every conductor strung and sagged to tolerance.
Challenge, solution, outcome
Challenge
A high-tension transmission line crossing two regions means long, dispersed worksites, demanding logistics for poles and conductors, and zero tolerance for safety or quality lapses on energised infrastructure.
Solution
We staged pole and conductor distribution against the construction sequence, coordinated access along the route, and held a strict erection-and-stringing quality regime backed by our safety standards.
Outcome
Delivered our scope of the 225 kV line across the East and West regions to specification — a piece of national grid infrastructure built to serve for decades.
