The work

Challenge, solution, outcome

Challenge

Rebuilding a working central market requires keeping traders earning while delivering a modern, resilient facility under public-private scrutiny.

Solution

We staged construction to maintain temporary trading areas, self-performed civil and electrical works for control, and integrated rainwater harvesting and solar lighting for long-term resilience.

Outcome

Structure and utilities are progressing on programme toward a market that will serve 480 traders with modern infrastructure.
