Smart metering comes to Buea

Phase 1 of the Buea LV upgrade went live in March, bringing 9,200 customers onto smart meters with real-time consumption telemetry.

The benefits compound: utilities reduce non-technical losses, customers see live billing, and city planners get the demand-side data needed to plan the next decade of grid investment.
